Betty White Calendar
We wouldn't mind getting older if it really is as much fun as Betty White makes it look. The young-at-heart actress is starring in her own calendar, complete with hunky, young, shirtless men. Proceeds from the calendar benefit her Morris Animal Foundation. The calendar goes on sale in September. You go, Betty!
Update: The calendar isn't all Betty White has cooking. WWD reported today on Betty White hoodies.

Father's Day Gift Idea: New Kenneth Cole Touch Screen Watch
If your dad is like mine, he has "everything he needs," so buying him a gift for Father's Day is a chore. Even though my dad has a handful of expensive watches, I know he doesn't have anything like the new Kenneth Cole New York Touch Screen Watch. My dad loves gadgets (he was the first to get a calculator watch, remember those?); and he loves new technology. He'll appreciate the features like the touch screen, the thirty-two city world time, the luminescent backlight, the stainless steel and water resistant construction, and the durable black rubber strap.
The watches range from $125 to $175 and can be found at Kenneth Cole retail stores, department stores and online at http://www.kennethcole.com/.
Kenneth Cole New York also makes a version in white that I've been test driving this week. I always wear a big face watch so the proportions are just right on this one. The touch screen is fun to mess with; but harder to figure out and the directions aren't very clear. I was able to set the time, but not the hourly chime which goes off all day long. I'm also concerned about the white silicon band which was discolored after day one thanks to my dark wash jeans. Fortunately, a quick brush with a warm wash cloth cleaned it up. This is a great watch for the summer that'll look sharp with anything from sundresses to cut-off shorts.
This review was based on a sample.

Elsa Peretti's Tee Time from Tiffany's
It's pretty hard to top this as a Father's Day gift. The Elsa Peretti's Tee Time set is a sterling silver tee and a golf ball is covered with 390 pavé diamonds totaling eight carats. The tee and ball come on an artificial square of grass in an oxidized sterling silver tray handcrafted by Tiffany. Even if dad's still mad at you for that time you crashed the car, he'll forgive you when he opens this gift!
Available at Tiffany's.

Their Valentine's day blend is a combination of black tea, strawberries and chocolate with a hint of rose petals. This time of year we brew a couple of cups of tea each day, this one needs to be in our rotation!

Intoxicated Zodiac Candles: Great Valentine's Day Gift
Intoxicated Zodiac Celestial Cocktail Candles would make a special Valentine's day gift especially since there are different "cocktail" concoctions for each sign. We try travel with candles because no matter how nice your hotel is you run the chance of encountering some strange odors: mold, smoke, or cooking smells. Creator Gwen Sutherland puts an unlit Capricorn candle on her tray table during flights (molasses espressotini scent-yum!).
You can find them at our Open Sky store and they're on sale this week for 25% off.

Ralph Lauren Olympic Collection
The U.S. Olympic athletes will be outfitted by Ralph Lauren for the 2010 Winter Games. It's more sporty than the Summer 2008 collection; but just as put together. The collection is available for purchase on the Ralph Lauren website where you can also find some great information about the games and the athletes. We love the navy puffer jacket with the red stripe down the sleeves; but could do without the oversized logo. As far as the tapered white pants, it takes someone in great shape to pull those off.
The Opening Ceremony Knit Sweater (wool/cashmere blend) is beautiful and wearable. The Olympic patch on the sleeve makes it sporty; but not too much so. It would be perfect on a ski trip.
The Olympic Ceremony Knit Hat would be great for a ski trip as well, though we can't see wearing it on 5th Avenue. Since it's unisex, we think it'd make a great gift for your SO and a not too gaudy souvenir from the Olympic Games.
